21 Ways to Start and Keep a Positive Day All Day

Its hard for single mothers. Its even harder when you feel like you aren’t able to live your best life for you and for your children because you lack the other 15 arms you need to get things done in an appropriate time. But like anything else positivity is a choice. So choose to be positive by implementing these 21 ways to start and keep a positive day all day.

Catering to Your Mental

Wake up early. People who wake up earlier than are more likely to be more productive and more happier as a result because they’re investing their time in something that matters to them.

Create an Agenda for your days ahead. Do so in your own time, on your own schedule it doesn’t matter. Every night or every week set a purpose for your days ahead in the week. This creates a since of purpose and productivity we need as human beings to flourish.

Don’t over do it. No more than 3 goals a day is preferable if you’re beginning, this way you feel accomplished and happy when you get them all done and not incompetent because you had twenty things on your list and only completed two. That’s depressing. This also assist in keeping your day simply purposeful and not overwhelmingly crowded.

Affirmations are something more people are getting results with. The key is actual consistency and actually believing what you are saying is true. Positive talk and work for 200 please.

Create a space just for you. Whether physical or virtual. Create that space and make it into what you love to see and go there when you need that pick me up.

Diffusers. Diffusers. They been trending for a reason. Diffusion of essential oils into the air have been proven to improve physical, mental and emotional well being and they make your place smell so good. Invest in one its worth it and they’re affordable. Start here with affordable diffusers

Keep in touch with those that give you inspiration and motivation on a daily basis. The ones who always have an upside to the apparent downside, which leads to the next one on the list.

Clear your personal space, thoughts and feelings of things and people who try to make you feel less than anything you see yourself as or wish to be. The people who love to talk down on you when they reach an emotional rut and try they’re absolute hardest to convince you of the lowest version of yourself. They’re toxic and only offer toxic thoughts and energy. If the ties are too knotted, create boundaries, keep it short, and I mean keep it really short.

Get out the house. With the kids and without them. Without them, this doesn’t have to involve the bar or club.  If you’re pressed for cash cafes and bookstores are always low budget. If you’re a homebody like me enjoy your home to the fullest ;Cook something different, create a vision board, a workout or office space, etc

Catering to Your Physical

Hygiene. Yes this should be an absolute given but no go the extra mile. Create a hair refreshing spray and natural face and body spray that improves the appearance of your skin definitely use rose water and some of your other favorite smell good oils.

Exfoliate Muvas. Exfoliate. You should do so with healthy ingredients. This could mean straight from your kitchen. Here are some good recipes to try. Dry brushing is less mess and beneficial to the lymphatic system.

Work It Out. You don’t need a personal trainer to workout but if it motivates you or makes you feel more productive by all means find one you can afford. A dance class, cycling, aerobics etc just make the time. Its a personal investment that pays big for you.

Eat. Eat well, Eat good, Eat in moderation, Eat from the best of what’s accessible to you. Eat alone. Eat with those you love. create beautiful dishes for you and your children. Let them help even (sometimes), but remember to Eat.

Water Intake. Make it a rule that water will be the first and last thing you put into your body each day. Try to drink more water than anything else. And don’t forget to pack that hair spray or natural body mist I mentioned for post workout hygiene.

Goodies. Make natural home made juice and baked goods mom mom style and display them beautifully in the kitchen and dining area.

Catering to Your Emotional Well Being

Make some emotional and/or spiritual goals. Take a moment to observe where you are emotionally etc and make some goals for that part of your life. These require no footwork or hands on work but in hindsight these goals are more investing, long lasting and more enriching.

Healthy Timelines. Unfollow people who do not motivate and inspire you in some way. It’s emotionally exhausting and you deserve better.

Give and Take Well. Give a complement to another woman and receive a compliment with smiles and thanks.

Expectations. When people show you who they are believe them the first time and act accordingly. Do not give more emotion and tolerance to people who have proven themselves to be undeserving. You deserve to get what you give and give what you get, gracefully of course.

Silence. Sometimes no reaction at all and words left unsaid are better for us than we realize. Everyone doesn’t deserve a reaction no matter how close they were.

Intellectual Intelligence. This comes with self awareness and discipline which only benefits self, leaving things where they are and never lowering your standards.
